House on the Rock has announced the 13th edition of its annual gospel concert, “The Experience”. The event tagged ‘Jesus, Our Peace’ is scheduled to hold at 7 pm on December 7, 2018, at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, Lagos.
As it has been the norm, The Experience 2018 will feature renowned indigenous and international gospel artists such as Top gospel artistes in Nigeria and abroad are gearing up for the annual Christian concert, The Experience. Saturday Beats gathered that artistes such as Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Tope Alabi, Donnie McClurkin, Timi Dakolo, Nathaniel Bassey, Vicki Yohe, Chioma Jesus, Eben, Tim Godfrey, Mike Aremu, Glowreeyah, Onos, Eno Michael and Chee, will be performing at the event.
This year’s edition with the theme, ‘Jesus, Our Peace; is to express the true nature of our Jesus Christ. According to the senior pastor and convener ofThe Experience 13, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the inspiration behind the 2018 theme is to highlight who Jesus is, especially in the world we live in today. Speaking further on the theme, Adefarasin emphasised that regardless of the outcome of the forthcoming elections; Nigerians should support peace.
“Peace (as I know it) is not the absence of tension but the presence of justice,” he said.
According to the organisers, the concert will be free for all interested attendees and it will be organised with professionalism.
